STEAM School Malta is organizing two morning workshops (from 9am to 1pm) to teach the skills required for effectively communicating science through the use of creative methods. In the first workshop, the organizers will explain how to weave a creative and engaging narrative to deliver a scientific concept through experiments and different art mediums. The participants will practice these skills, develop their demonstration(s) within groups and use the available experimental material.

The participants will then get the chance to test the skills learned by experiencing first-hand the delivery of their interactive science demonstration(s) in at least two secondary schools in March/April. To prepare for this, during the second workshop, the participants will be supported in gaining the necessary skills and practice to deliver one or two of the interactive science demonstrations to a young audience.

No experience is required and attendance is free. If you are interested to attend the workshop on 29th of February and 7th of March 2019, please apply here by not later than 27th February 2019. The dates of the school visits are not being finalized but will happen between March, April and May.
